Feet hurt, Heart happy

In honor of National Quilting Day some good girls got to go to AQS Lanaster. It's possible we did some shopping.

(editorial note: there are four people's worth of insanity in that photo. Yes, it's still a LOT of stuff but per capita it was perhaps merely "obscene" as opposed to "GNP of Burundi")

Are we embarrassed by our own rampant consumerism?

We really really are not.

Debrief and more later, for now I have to go put a cold compress on my debit card. Poor guy seems to have strained himself somehow.

  2. Thanks Jackie, I'm pretty sure my bff is putting the Aurifil booth's kids through college all by herself. But all in all it was a fantastic weekend for more than the shopping, we all came out of it feeling energized and loving the chance to hang with each other. And my mom came! I love when my mom comes. She's a landscape quilter so she found all kinds of neat stuff her LQS hasn't even heard of.

  4. Chris, we lost our minds just a touch, that's for sure. We consoled ourselves by saying that our stuff all fit in the bags we brought and ignored the fact that some of us made oversized bags just for the occasion. :). By the way, your posts are hysterical! Keep up the good fight with WW. I'm not allowed to be on the program but I love seeing it work for others!!
